New Bronze 100 Praised by SoundStage!
Posted on August 05 2020
The multi-award winning Bronze range has now entered its 6th generation, receiving a complete upgrade in both sound and build quality, as well as new technology such as Uniform Dispersion (UD) Waveguide and Damped Concentric Mode (DCM) technology. With a choice of 4 finishes and eight models, the new Bronze Series has been designed to please any music or movie lover.
Monitor Audio's Bronze series has been a huge hit since it's launch, and the latest review from Diego Estan from SoundStage! Access does an excellent job of explaining why.
In his review, Diego said the Bronze 100 had a "big, bold, full-bodied wall of sound", and also noted the bass output and extension was "second to none for a passive, budget monitor".
Commenting on the high notes, Diego said, "when I listened to 'Angel' from Sarah McLachlan’s Surfacing, the Bronze 100s proved they could sound delicate and refined while reproducing this simple arrangement of McLachlan’s haunting singing accompanied only by piano".
Diego went on to say that "the Bronze 100s' most attractive attribute was their ability to produce a BIG sound from a pair of relatively small boxes -- a sound that was smooth and nonfatiguing, but never dull, dark, or boring. They had enough finesse and refinement for evenings of quiet critical listening, but could party hard when I needed them to. They were easy to listen to."
Diego's full review will be available on SoundStageAccess.com starting August 15th. You can also subscribe to the SoundStage! newsletter and get early access to the review by clicking here.
