Climate Series 3G
Monitor Audio's Climate Series 3G includes two contemporary designs (Climate Medium and Climate Small) featuring innovative technologies and levels of detail in sound and product design usually found in Monitor Audio's premium high-fidelity loudspeakers.
Climate Series 3G can withstand the toughest of outdoor environments, satisfying a demanding IP66 rating. Moreover, due to the sleek aesthetic design and ease of installation, Climate Series 3G is equally at home being installed inside, whether that’s areas of homes with high humidity, or retail spaces, restaurants and gyms.

Benefits of the Climate Series 3G
- IP66 Rating - After many hundreds of tests and to ensure there are no critical errors, Climate Series 3G received an IP66 rating, among the highest of weather-proof test results. This means both models are capable of remaining outside in the harshest of environments, and are impervious to dust, heavy rain or snow. Users can deploy the hardy speakers with confidence that they will enjoy a lifetime of high-fidelity sound whatever the weather.
- Expansion Valve System - The new 'expansion valve' ensures Climate Series 3G remains capable of delivering consistent audio performance despite quick changes in weather.
At different times of the day, the speaker's internal air pressure could see variations as the cabinet cools or heats up under external weather conditions. The expansion valve allows the internal air pressure of the speaker to balance with the external pressure.
Example - Under direct sunlight the internal air pressure would increase and push against the rear driver units, undermining the performance. To prevent this, the expansion valve allows air to very slowly dissipate from the cabinet over a period of time. - Quik-Link Bracket System - The innovative 'Quik-Link' connection bracket system means that fitment and product placement is incredibly simple.
Climate Series 3G uses a lightweight, yet incredibly strong die-cast aluminum bracket, which allows the range’s two models to be positioned almost anywhere with minimal hassle. The bracket design provides 180 degrees of rotation in both the vertical and horizontal plane – so it can be ‘aimed’ into the desired location whether that’s in a restaurant, commercial space or outdoor patio. - Sealed, Impenetrable Enclosure - A one-piece moulded cabinet, made from dense ABS and reinforced with glass-fibre, protects the important elements within for a lifetime of use. A large Auxiliary Bass Radiator (ABR) and fully sealed front baffle housing the drive units, ensure the whole design can withstand the harshest of weather conditions.
- New Auxiliary Bass Radiator - One of the most significant acoustic and design features of Climate Series 3G is the large, sealed Auxiliary Bass Radiator (ABR) on the rear of each model. The concave ABR panel, detailed with Monitor Audio’s signature Hex pattern, works like a sealed port tube, preventing ingress from the elements yet allowing the bass to reach lower frequencies and deliver a satisfyingly full low-end performance, just as you would enjoy from a traditional ported design.
Climate Series 2G
Monitor Audio's Climate Series includes 4 all-weather models that can be wall mounted in any combination while providing a wide and even dispersion of full range sound over large areas.
Each model includes a C-CAM driver and a 1" C-CAM Gold Dome Tweeter (the CL60-T2 stereo model includes two tweeters). Additionally, low frequencies are augmented from an Auxiliary Bass Radiator (ABR) in each cabinet. The Climate Series features paintable textured white or black finishes with weatherproof aluminum grilles.

Benefits of the Climate Series 2G
- Robust Weather-Proof Construction - You can rely on Monitor Audio's meticulous engineering to protect the CL models from weather ingress. Their solid, sealed, high-density polypropylene enclosures are specially treated to resist moisture and the effects of prolonged UV exposure. Aluminum grilles and rugged brackets are equipped to prevent rust.
- Installation Flexibility - Mounted at either end of each CL cabinet is a heavy-duty bracket designed for 175 degrees of horizontal or vertical rotation in small non-slip increments. Magnetic end-caps protect the bracket terminals top and bottom, and make the process of re-positioning easy. Once installed, a CL speaker can be directed precisely for the maximum musical effect. For added flexibility a supplied installation wedge advances the angle of rotation by a further 15 degrees to extend the choice of firing angles.
- Extra Bass - Sound quality is further optimized for the open environment through the use of an additional sealed ABR (Auxiliary Bass Radiator) driver to enrich low frequencies with extra punch and penetration.
Climate Garden Series
The Climate Garden System is comprised of high performance, super discreet all weather satellite speakers and a subwoofer, using Monitor Audio's proprietary driver technology. Its ground level installation amongst shrubs and trees delivers a luxurious blend of unobtrusive aesthetics and natural full range audio in gardens of any size. 70/100 V line arrays of up to twelve satellites per subwoofer makes the Climate Garden System expandable with additional satellite and subwoofer sets according to garden area. Operating temperature range: -4° to 158° F / -20° to 70° C.

- High Quality From The Ground Up - The satellite speakers are a robust high sensitivity design built to deliver richly detailed hi-quality mid/high frequencies. Engineered to withstand the most extreme temperatures and weather conditions, their rigid conical cast-polymer enclosure houses the company's signature 1" (25 mm) C-CAM Gold Dome tweeter co-axially aligned with a 4" MMP (CLG140) or 6" MMP (CLG160) bass-mid driver. The horn-shaped housing provides excellent audio directivity in free air conditions when positioned close to the garden surface on a bracket/spike assembly, which neatly encapsulates and channels the connecting cable into the ground for a discreetly installed result.
- Subterranean Bass - Optimized for discreet sub-surface installation, the CLG-W12 subwoofer's proprietary Monitor Audio band-pass design incorporates an internally loaded 12" C-CAM driver which sits in a waterproof rotationally-molded polymer enclosure buried below the garden surface - only the CLG-W12's domed output port is visible. From this domed port powerful, tight bass frequencies will join the clean mids and highs of the surrounding satellite speakers for punchy and articulate full-range garden sound.
- Easy Daisy-Chain Installation - The CLG-W12 can be powered from a single amplifier channel at 4 ohms or with its 70/100 V line option recommended for cable runs over 10 m (30 ft.). System configurations are endless.

Monitor Audio's AWC (All-Weather Custom) Series includes 4 in-wall / in-ceiling models that deliver big signature sound discreetly into garden, pool and marine areas, as well as many other outdoor environments.
